The workshops will be led by Ian McLaughlin and Bev Fox, founder members of the Suggestibles. Each have 20 years experience in performing and teaching improvisation, working with the leading lights in their field, such as Improbable Theatre and the Comedy Store Players. They have trained with international author, the Guru himself, Keith Johnstone and legendary theatrical entrepreneur, Ken Campbell (RIP). Over the years Bev and Ian have trained thousands of people, young and not so young, from all sorts of backgrounds, career paths and life goals, in the magic of improv. |
Each session includes warm up, games, pairs, group work and discussion. We have two 5 week blocks of evening adult improv workshops beginning in January, with more to follow for young people, performers and facilitators. |
DATES, TIMES, PRICES Intermediate - Tuesdays 20th January till 17th Feb For those with previous improv training and an understanding of the basics. Foundation - Wednesdays 21st January till 18th Feb For those with no prior experience, or who would like a refresher. The studio opens at 6.30pm for a 6.45pm start. There will be a short break midway. The workshops end at 9pm. The cost of each block is £50, payable in advance. For a single session the cost is £12, and subject to availability.
